Hold on to your IPA’s, Milwaukee! The creative minds behind Edible Milwaukee and SipMilwaukee are teaming up to lead the storytelling of Milwaukee’s booming beer scene.
SipMilwaukee has been thoroughly documenting the rebirth of Brew City since January of 2017, sharing exclusive brewery interviews online. To incentivize their viewers to visit breweries and taste the beers themselves, SipMilwaukee also offers a “Brewery Trail” including tons of deals at breweries around the city.
By teaming up with the SipMilwaukee crew to produce “Brew City Stories”, Edible Milwaukee adds a whole new stream of content to their already robust magazine and online platform. Both groups will collaborate closely on the production of the video stories and written articles, focusing on the people and the beers that make our city what it is today.
The real winners in this partnership are the breweries and other businesses in the beer scene. To support the growth and sustainability of the modern beer industry in Milwaukee, the “Brew City Stories” series gives beer businesses a new platform for promoting their brands, beers, events and more.
To kickoff the series the right way, “Brew City Stories” will focus on Milwaukee’s original craft brewery: Sprecher Brewing. Specifically, the first installment will cover a behind-the-scenes conversation with founder Randy Sprecher and highlight their new “XII Dragons Bourbon Barrel-Aged Quad” that is released on December 1, 2018.
All “Brew City Stories” content will be available in video format on SipMilwaukee’s Facebookand Edible Milwaukee’s Facebook. The “Brew City Stories” articles will be available in the print edition of Edible Milwaukee.
