Hunter Nikolai

Hunter Nikolai is a Hunter Education and R3 (Recruit, Retain, and Reactivate) Assistant with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Hunter resides in Madison but spends most of his fall weekends on Washington Island pursuing white- tailed deer. Though he has hunted since the age of 12, he has just begun broadening the species he hunts–motivated by the sustainability (and taste) of wild game and the challenges different species bring to the table.
