Guy Rehorst

Guy Rehorst began Great Lakes Distillery in 2004. Since founding the distillery, he has been active in several successful legislative efforts to turn back outdated laws relating to alcohol production. Guy was a founding member of the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS) Craft Distillers Advisory Council. He currently serves as the DISCUS Small Distiller Advisory Midwest Regional Vice-Chair, as well as a member of the DISCUS Science Committee. Guy is also the President of the Wisconsin Distillers Guild.

Since its founding, Great Lakes Distillery’s products have been distributed in 26 states and have won dozens of awards, most notably a Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for their Rehorst Gin and Best American Blended Whisky at the World Whisky Awards in London for their Kinnickinnic Whiskey.
