Advisory Panel
We’d like to recognize our advisory panel for their valuable time and even more valuable insight into Milwaukee’s local food movement.
Arthur Ircink, Editor in Chief, Edible Milwaukee
Arthur Ircink is the creator and director of the Emmy-winning Wisconsin Foodie, a local PBS television series dedicated to telling the stories behind the food we eat. A die-hard Milwaukeean, Arthur can be found on Milwaukee’s roof-tops at any time, preaching the virtues of our great city, where he was born and raised. Arthur has been nominated for Milwaukee’s Best Filmmaker two years in a row by the Shepherd Express and has also won 2 Chicago Regional Emmy's with Wisconsin Foodie. Most recently he worked with the Mayor of Milwaukee, Tom Barrett, to produce a video called Home Gr/Own, for the city’s application to the Mayor Bloomberg Challenge. He has future plans to do a feature documentary. Among his many many different quirks and nuances, Arthur was a vegetarian for 16 years, a Milwaukee Bucks season ticket holder for 3 and is now President of the Shorewood Business Improvement District.
